When the idea of Witches voting is raised, the average person might wonder if their concern is the price of frog toes going up or whether pointy hats will be outlawed in the schools. In reality, Witches are not entirely the stuff of fairy tales. We're a culture of diverse people following a path of spirituality and magic.
In fact the issues facing Witches often stem from misunderstandings people can sometimes have about us. But once they understand that Witches are a life-affirming group that beliefs in the spiritual power of magic inherent in all things, and that we use that power to change our lives, these opinions change.
Until that time, we will, from time to time, face certain challenges and Witches Vote! believes that active participation in the political process through voting and getting involved is the best first step to protecting our rights from those who might seek to take them from us.
